Founder Profile
Lesley Phillips is a self taught artist, intuitive reader, healer and spiritual teacher, living in Vancouver, B.C. Canada. She creates paintings that convey unique, fun spiritual insights through the multi-dimensional language of color and symbol. Lesley has over ten years experience providing readings and healings to hundreds of satisfied clients, where her focus is to help them to increase self awareness so they can consciously take charge of their lives.
Lesley trained to become a professional intuitive reader, healer and spiritual teacher at the CDM Psychic Institute, Everett, WA, where she was taught by world renowned author and speaker Mary Ellen Flora. She graduated from the CDM's two year clairvoyant training program in 2003 and their spiritual teacher training program in 2005. After qualifying, Lesley taught meditation at the Institute for eighteen months. She is currently teaching in Healing Classes.
Prior to discovering the CDM, Lesley’s spiritual journey included exploration of her astral experiences and the use of dream symbols to explore her intuition and inner guidance. She was a member of the Rainbow Bridge Dream Work Group, founded by Elizabeth Richards, 1996-1998. During this time she was also trained as a healer by the School of Insight and Intuition, Richmond, UK.
Having a B.Sc. in biology, a Ph.D. in natural product drug discovery, Lesley has also had a successful business career supporting the application of science in healing. She currently works as a business consultant providing advice to life science companies around the globe. In the past she held executive positions in seven international life science companies where she directed programs in marketing, communications and business development including licensing negotiations and other major corporate transactions.
Lesley started painting for fun and relaxation, in gaps between her spiritual studies and her busy work schedule, but she later discovered that her artwork conveys spiritual information that can assist others in their spiritual growth, awareness and understanding. Lesley created ArtVision to share her paintings with others and to show how art can be a doorway to spiritual realms.
